Visit Assumption University

    Offered Monday - Friday, at 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
                Select Saturdays- February, March and April: 11:00 a.m.

    Duration: 1.5 hours

    While visiting us on campus you'll tour academic, residential, and recreational areas of Assumption University with a current student.

    Hoops and Hounds
    February 17th- 12:00 p.m.-3:30 p.m.
    Duration: 3.5 hours

    Prospective students and families will have the option to enjoy a campus tour complete with an afternoon reception and attendance at the Assumption University women’s and men’s basketball games.  Food and refreshments will be served at the reception and space in Laska Gymnasium will be reserved for our attendees.  If you’ve already toured campus, feel free to join us for the reception and the basketball games only.  If you're opting only for the campus tour, you can indicate that when you register. We will host the reception, which will be followed by the basketball games.

    Criminology and Sociology Career Night
    February 21- 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m.
    Duration: 2 hours

    Assumption University Alumni will be presenting on careers in the fields of law enforcement, law, social services, counseling, education, information technology, research and more.  At the conclusion of the presentations, prospective students will enjoy a pizza dinner with our alumni presenters and current Assumption University students.

    Greyhound for a Day

    February: 5, 7, 13, 15, 19, 21, 27, 29: 9:30 a.m.
    March: 12, 14: 9:30 a.m.

    Duration: varies, typically 3-4 hours

    Spend the day as a student at Assumption University! Prospective students will attend class with current Greyhounds and other prospective Greyhounds. Meet our professors, dine in Taylor Dining Hall, and take a personalized tour of campus.

    Assumption University Speaker Series: Why I am a Feminist Economist: Understanding Economics and the Value of Work
    February 28: 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
    Duration: 1.5 hours

    Sarah Small '16, Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Utah, discusses some of the distinguishing features of feminist economics as a body of knowledge, with a particular focus on how it helps us better understand gender and work in the global economy today.

    Accept Assumption
